Using F5Bot for lead generation: setup, limits, and when to upgrade

Most people enter their product name and stop. For lead generation you want three keyword groups:

  1. Competitor names — you want every thread where a competitor is being discussed, praised, or complained about.
  2. Problem phrases — 2–4 word phrases your buyers actually type: "find leads reddit", "monitor brand mentions", "intent data".
  3. Category asks — "lead gen tool", "social listening tool". Keep them specific; one-word keywords will bury you.

Tips from heavy users:

  • Use the "whole word" option to cut false positives.
