Trigify alternative: engagement signals vs buying-intent research

Trigify mines social engagement — who liked, commented, followed — to build outbound lists. LeadSleuth starts from what people say they need and researches each one into a cited dossier.

Trigify is a credible player in signal-based selling: it tracks social activity (notably on professional networks), turns engagement into prospect lists, and enriches them. It's credit-based rather than seat-based — Starter at $40/mo (4,000 credits), Max at $199/mo (40,000 credits), Enterprise custom, with overage at $0.012/credit. Credits are consumed per post returned, per enrichment, per agent run.

What Trigify does well

  • Engagement mining: people who engage with a competitor's post or a relevant creator are plausibly in-market.
  • Workflow depth: enrichment, email finding, AI agents and CRM handoffs in one credit system.
  • Team-friendly: no per-seat pricing for normal workspace users.

Where the engagement-signal approach has limits

  • Engagement ≠ intent. A like is weak evidence. Someone who writes "our current tool keeps failing, what else is there?" is telling you they're in-market — a like can mean anything.
  • Credit math needs managing. Per-result and per-enrichment costs mean broad searches burn budget fast; overage is easy to hit.
  • Output is a list. You still decide who's worth contacting and do the "why them, why now" research yourself.

How LeadSleuth is different

LeadSleuth only surfaces leads who said something: asked for recommendations, complained about a competitor, described the problem you solve — on Hacker News or Bluesky (Reddit planned, pending API approval). Each match is scored 0–100 for intent against your ICP, and high-intent leads get a cited dossier with identity, fit reasons and a draft reply quoting their post. No credits, no list-building: a short daily list with the research done. Note that Trigify covers professional-network engagement that LeadSleuth deliberately doesn't touch — we only use openly public posts.
