Where raw alerts stop short for lead generation

  • An alert is not a lead. A keyword match tells you a word appeared — not whether the poster has buying intent, fits your ICP, or is worth an hour of research.
  • Noise is on you. Popular keywords get capped or disabled; niche phrasing means maintaining many keyword variants by hand.
  • Research is on you too. Who is this person? What company? Why would they care about you? That's 20–30 minutes per lead, every time.

Which should you choose?

Use F5Bot if you want brand-mention alerts, especially on Reddit, and its free tier's 5 keywords (or a paid plan) cover your list.
